Dear Ken: Hello there. Hope the old mouth feels better after the tooth extraction. Was glad to hear your doing OK. Don't know if you've heard the out come on the Dixie Belle tourney. Larry Newall out of Visaila won the singles and Joe Muniz took second. Steve and dad Hal Perry won the doubles with Joe Muniz and Billy Maxwell taking 2nd. Jay Bird and I placed 4th. We eliminated several good dubs like Bubba and PE, DK and Gary George out of Washington, and Bubba and Craig. Karl and Nick out of Sacramento took 3rd. I don't recall who won the ABC event, but I think it was AZ Turnbo, Marie Coulter and Teresa. Well, that's about it, hope to see you soon.

Dear Shuffleboard Friends:
Yesterday I rode with a friend to Las Vegas, she had
shopping to do.
Driving down Nellis Blvd., I spotted the Brass Rail, I yelled,
"STOP,
they have a shuffleboard." I ran in checked, yep, they did! I
remembered
years ago they used to have two, but someone told me they took them out.
I had a few hours to kill and started looking in my wallet for numbers
to call to get a game. I found Frankie Z's number and promptly called.
He went, "well this and well that" and gave me the number for
Ron G.
Not real sure of last name.... No answer, so I just tossed a few weights
and was hoping somebody would walk in the door...
About a half hour later in walks Frankie! "Let
the games begin"....
We were in our third game when in comes Ron.... "I challenge",
he exclaims!
I beat Frankie two out of three, then beat Ron.... then we played a three man single round robin winner take all.... which I am glad to say I won....
My friend came back from shopping and off we went ... but with fond memories of a fine day of shuffleboard with fine friends....

I am three hours away, but you can bet I'll do anything to get a game.
