The most detailed Panoramic Photo ever of AREA 51 (in 20 segments), from the North to the South end at Groom Lake facility, Nevada, taken by Chuck Clark in 1995 from Freedom Ridge, just around the time of the final closure by the Air Force of 4000 acres of public land, including the Freedom Ridge and the White Sides hills), was able to be seen at:
eagle-net.org/groomwatch/panoramic.htm ~ but the link no longer works.
(If anyone knows where a copy of that neat photo, please let me know where it is.)
There is no substance whatsoever to the riduculous rumor (that started in May of 1997) that AREA 51 and its operations moved elsewhere. AREA 51 never moved anywhere. It is still there. And, in my opinion, is still expanding, particularly to the South.
Even as of this moment, it is estimated that there are anywhere from 1850 to 2300 defense-contractors employees working at various highly compartmentalized programs at this multi-faceted facility. Billions of dollars are involved in research, development and testings of numerous technological innovations in weapons systems. I hope that our hard-earned tax dollars are going to worthwhile projects.
The E.G. & G. Air Terminal, located at the north end of Las Vegas' McCarren Airport, is as busy as ever, daily transporting engineers and workers to and from Groom Lake facility several times a day. It only takes about 15 to 18 minutes to Groom Lake from the Terminal.
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
