The Study of Moles
Moleosophy is based on the theory that moles can be interpreted, in a small way, as indicators of a person's character and also can foretell generalities for the future. The location of the mole, the color and shape are considered.
Round moles reveal the good in people; oblong, a modest share of acquired wealth; angular represents both good and bad characteristics.
Light-colored moles are considered the luckiest; black moles, many difficulties before favorable results are achieved.
The signification of the moles by locations are as follows:
ANKLE ~ On a man, a fearful nature. On a woman, a sense of humor, courageous, willing to share love and worldly possessions with others.
ARMS ~ Courteous, industrious, happy marital relations. A man may have to fight many battles if the moles is near the elbow. He may also become a widower at an early age. A woman has the same characteristics, but her problems are in her occupation.
ARMPITS ~ Under the left arm, the early years are a struggle but ample remuneration, even riches, will make the later years very happy. Under the right arm, constant vigilance for welfare and security must be kept uppermost.
BACK ~ Be sure you have all the facts before you enter into negotiation of any enterprise.
BELLY ~ Self-indulgent. Avoid over-eating and excessive drinking. Try to keep a rigid check on your economy. Choose a marital partner who has an even, calm temperament and the gift of understanding.
BOSOM ~ Quarrelsome and given to temper. This mole indicates a lazy, sometimes unsteady disposition. Lack of ambition may result in a colorless career.
BREAST ~ On the right side, indolence and intemperance may destroy happiness for self and family. Need to exert will power and self-discipline so that you can enjoy the love and comfort of the children you might have. On the left breast, an active, energetic person, able to concentrate upon the acquisition of wealth and property.
BUTTOCKS ~ Not very ambitious. Inclined to accept any way of life, even poverty.
CHEEK ~ Either cheek a serious, studious, almost solemn person. A middle-of-the-road point of view on most theories pertaining to living, religion, and politics. Wealth is not necessary for your happiness.
CHIN ~ Many people have a mole on the chin. Right or left, it designates people with enviable characteristics. These are people with loving, generous disposition. They are conscientious workers, and love to travel and acquaint themselves with the habits and customs of other peoples in distant countries. They are capable responsible citizens, willing to accept responsibilities for family and country.
EAR ~ Rare, but whoever possesses it may find riches far beyond expectations.
ELBOW ~ Tremendous desire to travel. Always uncertain. Usually talent connected with one or more of the arts. Capable of earning a fortune in money but rarely having the urge to work for it.
EYE ~ Poverty overshadows unusual talent. If the mole is located on the outside corner of the eye it means an honest, forthright person, one who is reliable but needs love and admiration to offset the struggle for existence.
EYEBROW ~ Over the right eyebrow, a mole signifies perseverance. A very active life and successful in everything ~ business, home, and family. Over the left eyebrow or temple, the reverse is threatened. Disappointments will be due to selfishness and indolence. Only with a maximum of effort can poverty be avoided.
FINGER ~ On any finger, dishonesty, inclined to exaggerate due to inability to face the hardships that must be confronted.
FOOT ~ Inclined to brooding akin to melancholia. Prefers a sedentary life but really needs a balanced amount of activity to remain healthy.
FOREHEAD ~ In the center of the forehead a mole predicts honors, wealth, love, and a happy, distinguished family. Right and left forehead mole interpretations are identical with 'eyebrow' classification.
GROIN ~ Despite prosperity, a mole on the right groin augurs ill health. On the left, frailty without much prosperity.
HAND ~ An abundance of almost everything, health, wealth, and happiness. Usually very talented.
HEEL ~ Very active mentally and physically. Ability to accumulate a fortune if so inclined, but makes enemies who continuously plague and cause petty annoyances.
HIP ~ A mole on any part of the hips except the buttocks, contentment, fortitude, and ingenuity are the salient attributes that balances an otherwise over-amorous nature.
INSTEP ~ Quarrelsome, often sullen. Generally a keen interest in athletics.
KNEE ~ On the right knee, a friendly, amiable disposition. A great lover, desirous of family and home life. On the left knee, extravagant, and inconsistent, but an excellent business acumen.
LEGS ~ Many difficulties during early years but capable of surmounting them by sheer forcefulness. Resources must not be dissipated. Avert any tendency toward indolence.
NAVAL ~ On a man, very lucky. On a woman, desire to have many children.
NECK ~ Unexpected good fortune, if mole is on front of the neck. On either side, unreasonable. On the back, need to practice frugality.
NIPPLE ~ On a man, fickle and desirous of many amours. On a woman, always striving for social status.
NOSE ~ A sincere friend. Will achieve success, make an excellent marriage. A person dedicated to amassing great wealth even though the struggle often seems impossible.
SHOULDER ~ Generally restless, needs to travel to be satisfied with home surroundings. A mole on the right shoulder brings prudence, discretion; a faithful marriage partner; very industrious. On the left shoulder, satisfied with any position in life, both occupational and social.
WRIST ~ Frugal, ingenious, dependable. On a woman, one marriage. On a man, possibly two marriages.
When there are twin moles such as a mole on one wrist in a certain spot and an identical one on the other wrist, this is called a Gemini duality. The person possesses a dual nature. This pertains to all dual moles no matter what the location, such as legs, arms, cheeks, and so on. Two moles, side by side are said to indicate two loves.
