Astro Twins ~ What Are They Exactly?
ASTRO TWINS are the neatest people in the world - atleast you'll think so if you ever find yours. Why? Because your astro twin would probably have lived a copy of your own life and is a mirror image of yourself. Think of all the stories you could share with each other!
One way to find your astro twin is to look up all the
other babies born in your town, the same minute you
were born. Many local papers print births of newborns
and save them on microfilm or in archive files.
Your astro twin doesn't necessarily have to be born in your town. I could be that if you were born on the east coast, three hours later a baby born on the west coast would also be your twin.
Several people have done studies on Astro twins. Joseph A. Goodavage was one who published a chapter on the subject in his book, "Astrology, A Space Age Science". In fact, Mr. Goodavage was a journalist who set out to prove Astrology incorrect. He was a reporter of the investigative type - and a good one at that, from what I've heard. He started compiling information on astrology to get the facts before he could sort it out and debunk it. As he gathered the facts, he became more and more interested in the subject, because he couldn't find anything wrong with it - and the astro twins must've blown his mind because he started studying more and more and eventually he became our top Astrometeorologist and was chosen by the Australian government to teach weathermen to read the weather better than they had ever done without learning Astrometeorology (weatherpredicting by using the planets).
If you know anything about Astrology, you know that your Sun sign is the sign of your inner personality, self, ego, being, etc. Sun sign means the sign of the month you were born in, i.e., Aries is the first sign, from March 21st to April 20th or 21st, which ever it happens to be in your birth year. The Ascending sign or Ascendant or Rising Sign is the sign on the 1st house, cusp, or far left side of the chart. This is the second most important thing in your chart. It's how you appear to the world. If you have Scorpio on the Ascendant, then you must have bushy eyebrows. This is general, 1/12th of people in the world probably have Scorpio rising and bushy eyebrows. But then it gets more specific the deeper you go. (There are 30 degrees to each sign, making up 360 degrees for 12 signs). An example: if you have the 10th degree and 56 seconds of Leo on the Ascendant, then you have a mole on your left elbow, a dimple on your left cheek, and a birthmark on your right thigh, and your first child or two would be taken from you at birth up to age 10. Astrology is VERY specific. The minute of birth determines the degree of the Rising Sign.
So now we have Sun Sign, personality, ego and general being; your inner self, how you appear to the world. Then, on the day, time and place you were born, the Moon had to be someplace. Your emotions were guided by the sign the Moon was in that day. Moon in Cancer is sensitive, Moon in Capricorn is hard as a rock, etc. But then there are eight other planets. Mercury rules the mind. The sign Mercury was in your day of birth and determines your mental state of mind, how intelligent you are, where your mind is at. Then there's Venus, the planet of love - lower love. It's the planet that says I love you as much as what you'll do for me. Jupiter is your luck. Mars is your energy and spunk. Neptune is the dreamer and idealist. It also rules higher more pure love. It says, "I love you no matter what you do to me". Uranus is the planet of great surprises - good or bad. Saturn is the teacher and rules discipline and learning abilities. Pluto is the planet of the underground and behind-the- scenes goings on. It is also the planet of death and regeneration. All of these planets in your birth chart are read according to the sign they were in at birth. If your Venus was in Taurus, you are very patient - can take a bad situation for years and years - and then it's over once and for all ~ "Patience of Gold". If Venus was in another sign, it would have a different meaning for you. Mars in Libra would be a peacemaker - see both sides of a story, try to patch up arguments between people ~ definitely not a fighter. Mars in Aries, across the wheel, would start arguments between two people and walk away laughing. All these little tidbits make up a human being. No two people are exactly alike ~ UNLESS it would be your Astro twin, and even then there would be minor differences. After looking at which signs all ten of your planets are in ~ then you look at which house they were in-for additional deeper meanings. Neptune in the 12th house might be a sneak drunk or dope addict. Neptune in the 2nd house would mean money slips through your fingers.
As if that's not enough, each degree has another
meaning of its own. For instance, a person who was
born with a major planet in the 25th degree of Pisces would
be born an alcoholic and probably never cured. Then,
as these planets, degrees and signs relate to
another planet in the chart (called aspects), there's
a deeper meaning. A person with another planet at
the 25th degree of any sign in bad relationship
(aspect) with the 25th degree of Pisces would drink
or do drugs when the Moon or another planet passes
over the 25th degree - for a few hours, days, weeks,
or months, depending on how fast that planet moves.
That's a quick run-down on how a chart is read to
determine the characteristics and fate of a person.
Your Astro twin would be just like you because he or
she would be made up of the same planets, in the same
degrees, same sign and same houses. The only difference
would be environmental upbringing - family background
and location. Basically, you would have been living
the same lives, same occupation, probably married,
divorced and had kids on the same days, spouses
and kids having the same names, same pets with same
names, accidents on the same days, and even death
in the same way at the same minute.
